Day 1: Malang - Mt. Bromo - Mt. Ijen
Get ready to be picked up at 00.00 a.m by our driver and professional guide who will take you to Bromo area in Probolinggo. After departing from Malang, you will reach the destination in 2 hours. Then, we will continue the trip by Jeep (4 WD) to enjoy the bumpy road towards Mt. Penanjakan, which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 30 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mountain in Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit Kingdom's history. Next, you can enjoy breakfast at Lava view restaurant. After finishing breakfast, the guide will lead you to the next destination that is Madakaripura Waterfall. There, you will find a natural 200m height waterfall with many spots relaxing your eyesight. Next, you will head to Mount Ijen Area in Banyuwangi / Bondowoso with a stopover for lunch. Here, you will stay for a night in a hotel.
Day 2: Mount Ijen – Surabaya, Malang or Ketapang Port
Get ready in the early morning because you will be picked up at 11.30 p.m from your hotel. We will start the trip by driving you to Paltuding. Afterwards we will begin an hour-long trek to Ijen Crater. Here, you can get the chance to witness the dazzling blue lava-like rivers of light known as the Blue Fire phenomenon. Next, we will explore the crater area and see a panoramic view of Mount Ijen turquoise. At 08.00 a.m, we will return to Surabaya, Malang or Ketapang port.
