Get ready to be picked up by our driver from your hotel in Bali and head to Ngurah Rai Airport. You will be flying to Surabaya shortly and once you land in Surabaya, you will meet our professional guide and drive to the Hotel in Mount Bromo Area. Once you reach the Hotel you will have some time to spare at your convenience by strolling around the hotel, the nearby farming area, witnessing the daily activities of the Tenggerese people, or just relaxing at the hotel. Around 2 a.m, we will continue the trip by Jeep (4 WD) to enjoy the bumpy road towards Mt. Penanjakan which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 30 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mountain on Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit Kingdom's history. Next, you can enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant and return to Surabaya.

Especially for Mt Bromo, there have been close to none of cases where a sudden eruption happens. You can easily notice the smoke erupting from the caldera. White smoke means safe and darker ones means eruption is ongoing.
