Day 1: Bali- Surabaya (by Flight) - Mt. Bromo - Mt. Ijen
Get ready to be picked up by our driver from your hotel in Bali and head to Ngurah Rai Airport. You will be flying to Surabaya shortly and once you land in Surabaya, you will meet our professional guide. Next, they will drive you to a hotel for a brief break, or you have the option to shower before continuing your journey to Mount Bromo. Around midnight, we will drive to Bromo area in Probolinggo and reach the destination in 2 hours. Then, we will continue the trip by Jeep (4 WD) to enjoy the bumpy road towards Mt. Penanjakan is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 30 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mount in Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit Kingdom history. Next, you can enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant and you will head to Ijen Crater in Banyuwangi / Bondowoso with a stopover for lunch. Here, you will stay for a night in a hotel.

Day 2: Mount Ijen - Ketapang Port
Get ready in the early morning because you will be picked up at 1 PM from your hotel. We will start the trip by driving you to Paltuding. Afterwards we will begin an hour-long trek to Ijen Crater.  Here, you can get the chance to witness the dazzling blue lava-like rivers of light known as the Blue Fire phenomenon. Next, we will explore the crater area and see a panoramic view of Mount Ijen turquoise. At 8 a.m, we will return Surabaya / Malang or Ketapang port

    Arrive in Sukapura and head to Sunrise View Point by using 4WD jeep

    Have a coffee break while waiting the sunrise

    Enjoy the Bromo sunrise

    Head to mt. Bromo crater

It's advisable to dress in layers and bring warm clothing, such as a jacket, hat, and gloves, to stay comfortable.

Especially for Mt Bromo, there have been close to none of cases where a sudden eruption happens. You can easily notice the smoke erupting from the caldera. White smoke means safe and darker ones means eruption is ongoing.
