Itinerary

Day 1: Surabaya – Jodipan Rainbow Village – Malang
Depart from Surabaya and drive to Hotel in Malang Area. Stop over to see the Jodipan Rainbow Village and take pictures with many colorful buildings around. We will arrive in Malang Area in the afternoon (Check In).

Day 2: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall – Bromo Area
Wake up early in the early morning and have breakfast. We will drive to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Meet the local guide and go together to one of the most visited Waterfalls in Indonesia. Around 2-3 hours after enjoying the Waterfall, we will go to the Hotel in Bromo Area. Once you reach the Hotel, you will have some time to spare at your convenience by strolling around the hotel, the nearby farming area, witnessing the daily activities of the Tenggerese people, or just relaxing at the hotel.

Day 3: Sunrise Mt Penanjakan – Sea of Sand – Bromo Crater –Bondowoso/Banyuwangi
Get ready to be picked up at 3.00 am by a 4 WD-vehicle to experience the bumpy road to reach Mt. Penanjakan 1 which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 30 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mountain in Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit history. If you are lucky, you will be able to witness the Yadnya Kasada ceremony, a Tenggerese festival held every 14th of the Kasada month, to honor Sang Hyang Widhi the Almighty God, Roro Anteng the daughter of King Majapahit and Joko Seger the son of Brahmana. After breakfast, you will head to Mount Ijen Area in Banyuwangi/Bondowoso. Here, you will stay for a night in a hotel.

Day 4: Mount Ijen – Surabaya
Get ready in the early morning because you will be picked up at 1 PM from your hotel. We will start the trip by driving you to Paltuding. Afterwards we will begin an hour-long trek to Ijen Crater. Here, you can get the chance to witness the dazzling blue lava-like rivers of light known as the Blue Fire phenomenon. Next, we will explore the crater area and see a panoramic view of Mount Ijen turquoise. At 8 a.m, we will return to Surabaya.

Day 5 : Surabaya - Juanda Airport
After having breakfast, prepare to check out and we will drop you off directly to the airport.

09.00 – 13.00	Enjoy Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, Goa Tetes and taking pictures, etc
13.00 – 17.00	Drive to Hotel in Bromo (check-in) with stopover for lunch
17.00	Arrive at the hotel and take a rest
Day 3	Sunrise Mt Penanjakan – Sea of Sand – Bromo Crater – Bondowoso/Banyuwangi
02.00	Wake up at early morning
02.30 – 03.30	Using Jeep and Drive to Mount Penanjakan to see the sunrise
03.30 – 04.30	Arrive at the Penanjakan and have a coffee break while waiting for the sunrise‬
04.30 – 06.00	Sunrise at Mount Penanjakan‬
06.00 – 07.00	Drive to Mount Bromo Crater‬
07.00 – 08.30	Climbing the volcano crater‬, enjoy sightseeing of Whispering Sand and Luhur Temple
08.30 – 11.00	Have breakfast at the hotel, take a bath ETC (Check out)
11.00 – 16.00	Drive to the Hotel in Banyuwangi (it needs 5 - 6 Hours of driving depending on the traffic) with a stopover for lunch
16.00	Arrive at the hotel and have some rest
23.00	Wake up and prepare to Mt Ijen
Day 4	Mount Ijen – Surabaya
23.30 – 01.30	Meet with our guide and drive to Paltuding Camp
01.30 – 02.00	Arrive at Paltuding Camp and coffee break while waiting for opening gate
02.00 – 04.00	Climbing Mt Ijen (It needs at least 1,5 hours - 2 hours Climbing)
04.00 – 05.30	Witnessing the Blue Flame and seeing the sulfur mining. (once the sun rises you can not see the blue flame so that is why we have to go at midnight)
05.30 – 07.00	Going down from Mt Ijen
07.00 – 08.00	Have breakfast (the hotel will provide you a Breakfast Box)‬
08.00 – 14.30	Drive to Surabaya
14.30	Check in the Hotel and have some rest
Day 5	Surabaya – Juanda Aiport
08.00 – 09.00	Have breakfast in the Hotel
10.00 – 11.30	Drive to the airport
