Mt. Bromo, Madakaripura Waterfall, & Ijen Blue Fire Tour Package from Yogyakarta - 2 Days

Day 1: Yogyakarta - Surabaya (by train) - Mt. Bromo - Mt. Ijen
The trip starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Yogyakarta. From there, we will take you to the train station and you will depart by train from Yogyakarta to Surabaya. You will be greeted by our driver and professional guide at Surabaya train station. Afterwards, we will take you to Bromo area in Probolinggo and reach the destination in 3 hours. Then, we will continue the trip by Jeep (4 WD) to enjoy the bumpy road towards Mt. Penanjakan which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 30 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mount in Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit Kingdom history. Next, you can enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant. After finishing breakfast, the guide will lead you to the next destination, which is Madakaripura Waterfall. There, you will  find a natural 200m height waterfall with many spots relaxing your eyesight. Next, you will head to Mount Ijen Area in Banyuwangi / Bondowoso with a stopover for lunch. Here, you will stay for a night in a hotel.

Day 2: Mount Ijen – Ketapang Port
Get ready in the early morning because you will be picked up at 1 a.m from your hotel. We will start the trip by driving you to Paltuding. Afterwards we will begin an hour-long trek to Ijen Crater.  Here, you can get the chance to witness the dazzling blue lava-like rivers of light known as the Blue Fire phenomenon. Next, we will explore the crater area and see a panoramic view of Mount Ijen turquoise. At 8 a.m, we will return to Surabaya / Malang or Ketapang port.
