We went for a 3D2N private tour, including Tumpak Sewu, Bromo and Kawah Ijen. It was a great trip with our guide, Rico, and our driver who were always very accomodating. I especially appreciated that they could adapt to our needs (for a specific hotel, for stops on the road at some points..) and that Rico made his possible to make our experience the best possible. Special thought for: - the less crowded waterfalls at Tumpak Sewu - the best place for Bromo sunrise with a blanket and our cup of coffee and tea :) The trip was also well organized: once you are in the car, you don’t need to think much about what’s next to do and that is great. They handle everything perfectly, I recommend !

We did the 3D2N trip and went to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, Mount Bromo and Ijen. All the sites were amazing!! The waterfall was stunning and you get to see it from up top and down below. Mount Bromo was amazing. The views of Mount Bromo from the sunrise spot was unreal and so beautiful. Ijen is a must do while in East Java.

Our guide Ikhsan was THE BEST!!!! He was friendly, funny, and great to have with us during our journey around East Java! We highly recommend Ikhsan as your guide!!! The driver Mr. Takim was also great and nice. He got us to all our destinations safely and on time.

Lastly, the pictures and videos our guide and all the local guides took were the absolute best! Don’t hesitate, book your trip with Cheap Bromo and Ikhsan now!

My boyfriend and me booked a 3 day-tour with this company and were very happy with the way our requests (personal wishes for starting times and pickup destinations) were handled. We had an amazing time with Elshar, our tour guide. Spending time with him didn't feel like he's just doing his job but more like we went on a trip with a good friend. He always knew where and how to find the perfect photo point and did not hesitate to rush there to make sure we arrive before everyone else will.
Our tour included Mount Bromo, Mt. Ijen, Tumpak Sewu and the Madakaripura Waterfalls. Tumpak Sewu probably surprised us the most- we hiked through a dreamy valley of many waterfalls and couldn't stop being impressed by this stunning nature. Don't skip it if you have the chance to see it! For us this was the highlight of the trip.

We were really satisfied choosing Cheap Bromo for our Java tour. The communication beforehand was really smooth and everyone was super helpful. We did the Tumpak Sewu, Mt. Bromo and Ijen tour which we really enjoyed. Big thanks to our guide Faruq who showed us all the cool less touristy spots and made our trip fun. We booked a 3 day adventure with this company we found online. It far exceeded our expectations! The service off the bat was great- we live in the states and while inquiring about this trip we got friendly responses within the day, even though we are a -12 hour time difference. We were very fortunate to end up getting our guide and driver, Danang and Takim. From the first night of the trip Danang reached out and informed us that it was going to be extremely busy with the holiday, so he asked us if we would be willing to start early so we could get there before the crowds, and man they were right! We got down to the waterfalls before the masses started and also went to visit the caves before things got crazy. Not only was Danang a wonderful guide, explaining things to us and teaching us about their culture, but he is also a killer photographer! He helped us take some amazing pictures. Takim was the other half to the equation- our driver. He was wonderful, made us feel very safe, in what I would consider a pretty hectic place to drive! While making us feel safe, he also was the most on time and punctual driver we’ve ever had. When they say let’s go at 12:30 in the morning- he was there at least 2 min early every time. We also did mt Bromo which was beautiful, and also Mt Ijen. Every part of the trip, down to the secret spots shared with us will
Be memories that will last a life time. Although some of these places can be crowded at times they went above and beyond to make us enjoy every second of the trip. If you’re going to Java or Bali I would highly recommend booking a trip with the company and if possible requesting these guys!

What an amazing three days! Danang our guide and Takim our driver exceeded all expectations and made for an unforgettable experience for our visit to East Java during our honeymoon trip. Knowing we were visiting during a busy time, they adjusted our itinerary to help us get ahead of the crowds each day. Danang was incredibly knowledgeable, teaching us about the area and always having the answer to ‘What’s that mountain?’ or any other questions we had on our mind. The hotels that were booked for us and the stops for breaks, breakfast, and lunch were wonderful. Tumpak Sewu and Goa Tetes Waterfalls, Bromo Jeep Tour with Sunrise and hike to Crater, and Kawah Ijen Blue Flames and Sunrise at the crater will live in our hearts forever thanks to this awesome team and the whole CheapBromo crew that helped to plan our tour. This trip was just perfect. We love to travel alone, usually we rent our own car, but in this case we decided to book private tour. It is much smarter choice moneywise and also you save yourself a lot of stress with driving in Java.
Schedule is tight if you want to see Bromo, Ijen and Tumpak Sewu in 3 days. Be prepared to sleep a lot in car during long drives from one place to other.
However we had a perfect guide and driver just for two of us. Mario is excelent guide. He is very friendly and dedicated to explain anything you want to know. He speaks bery good English. We took the trip during Ramadan and he walked/hiked everything with us without eating anything during day and always stayed positive. I wish I could do the same.
Wahyu our driver did amazing job getting us everywhere fast. They make their best to get you everywhere as soon as they can, so you dont have to queue up behind annoying big groups of tourists. They know the places much better than “guides” you can hire for one day trips.
We spend two nights in hotels chosen by company. I have to say that I was surprised how good hotels were.

Overall I would say that this package is great value for money paid. You cant choose better if you have just few days dedicated for East Java exploration.

I found cheap bromo online while researching about the place, and it was worth it! the process was smooth, with timely pick-up at the airport, and a well-coordinated guide (Danang) and experienced driver (Faizel).

Danang who was our tour guide handled things well and maturely and ensured he covered all the places considering safety as the priority. We enjoyed the nature at the closest, all the waterfalls, and yes! mt. bromo sunrise which we cannot forget, and mt. Ijen trek, which was the most challenging, Danang motivation helped us to climb the most steap peak.
